Trousers without shrinkage

Most people probably know that you get a pair of new trousers that fit perfectly.

Then they go for a spin in the washing machine, and now they are suddenly too small.

That's because clothes shrink. That is, if you do not have full control over the production.

We have that at Merrytime. Our trousers do not shrink when washed, so you do not have to buy them a size larger to account for this.

But why are Merrytime trousers so different from other trousers?

They are because we wash the trousers twice before they reach you as a consumer.

First, the fabric is washed before they are sewn up. It takes most of the shrinkage, but not all of it.

That is why we wash the trousers again after they are finished. It is a slow and expensive process, but it ensures that the trousers have now finished shrinking, and we have washed out the worst chemicals from the dyeing.

After that, they will stay the same size, wash after wash. This means that a pair of Merrytime trousers last 3-4 times as long as you would otherwise know from other trousers.
